*What happens to the time?

Where does the time go? I mean, really, what happens when you get older? When I was a kid summer vacation went by so fast and Christmas seemed so far away. Now it is the summer and I promise tomorrow it will be Thanksgiving and the New Year will be here next week. I often wonder do our minds alter the perception of time the older we get or have our lives become so crowded and busy that we find ourselves with less time? When I had children it seemed time went by even quicker. I can still remember bringing my oldest daughter home from the hospital after she was born. Now, 5 years later I am watching her become a little lady. She sits in the chair with the best little posture turning the TV looking for the show she watches every day that we get from directv's channel package. I often wish I could go back and see life the way my children see it. I want to look forward to Christmas instead of tackling a shopping list. I want to tell them to enjoy every second because one day they will wonder what happened to time.
